Bermuda is surrounded by beautiful reefs, which account for its history—and its well-earned reputation as a spectacular dive site. In 1609, the flagship of Admiral Sir George Somers was wrecked on these reefs while en route to the colony at Jamestown, Virginia. The crew then built two small ships and headed on to the American colony, but three sailors hid out and remained on the island. Not only can you can visit these historic sites, you’ll also discover the enchanting mansions of the Gilded Age in Newport, and visit the island of Fort Sumter in Charleston on our 10-night sailings. On an eastbound voyage, you’ll leave Tampa and arrive in Bermuda after three days at sea. If you depart from Fort Lauderdale, there will be two days at sea before reaching the island.
